Havana Group Supplies Inc.

Incorporat­ed in June 2018, even though the company’s business cards read “25 Years in Ontario.” Primarily involved in paving, concrete work, soil excavation and soil haulage. During a grand opening video, the company announced it was allegedly going to receive $110 million per month from contracts with agencies such as Metrolinx, three casinos and CN Rail. Related companies include Havana Group Concrete Inc., Havana Group Paving Inc., and Havana Group Haulage Inc.

Sardinha Holdings Inc.

Company associated with Steve Sardinha and his mother, Maria. It’s alleged the company was originally incorporat­ed last year with Steve Sardinha as the original director and the ownership split evenly between himself and his mother. It’s further alleged that the name was soon after changed to a numbered corporatio­n and a new company was created and given the name Sardinha Holdings, listing Sardinha’s mother as the original director.

Burl-Oak Paving

Started as a family operation in

1974 by Chris Rowe Sr. and Henrietta Rowe. Chris Rowe Jr. now owns 62.5 per cent of Burl-Oak Paving’s shares. It’s alleged in a court document that Burl-Oak Paving’s major assets have been transferre­d to Havana Group Supplies, its affiliates or its principals.

Voralto Group

Jointly owned by Steve Sardinha

and an associate. Last year, an Ontario Divisional Court ordered the company’s assets frozen as part of a lawsuit alleging Voralto Group was illegally dumping truckloads of industrial waste on a Grimsby property.

Waterdown Garden Supplies Ltd.

It’s alleged Havana Group Supplies and affiliated companies have dumped tens of thousands of loads of soil on the property of Waterdown Garden Supplies Ltd. on Highway 5 in Troy.
