Passed away suddenly at her home in Millgrove, on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the age of 90. Reunited with her beloved husband of 71 years, David (April 2018). Loving mother of Walter Crooker, Wendy (Ed) Beitel, Audrey (Phil) McKay, Catherine Crooker, and Arthur Crooker. Cherished grandmothe­r of Kara Beitel (Todd Prendergas­t), Wade Beitel, Dr. Heather McKay (Dr. Gareth Forster), Casey (Brett) Stewart, and great-grandmothe­r of Hannah and Emily Prendergas­t, Aubrey Stewart, and Ryan Forster. Predecease­d by her siblings, Jean (Allan) Borer, George (Eileen) Robertson, and inlaws Albert (Audrey) Crooker, Watson (Alice) Crooker, Shirley Chesney, Grace (Gino) Yachetti, and Gert (Wilf) Gray. Survived by her brother-in-law Bill Crooker (the late Bev). She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the first responders who came to the home and to Dr. Lind Holland for all of their wonderful care. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown, on Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at MILLGROVE UNITED CHURCH, 370 5th Concession W., on Monday, April 29, 2019 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Margaret will be laid to rest with David at Millgrove Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society or Millgrove United Church would be appreciate­d by the family.
