SUTTON, Beatrice “Bea” Ellen (nee Cannell)

March 23, 1925 - April 23, 2019 Passed away peacefully in her 95th year, with her family by her side. Bea is predecease­d by Bud (1998), her loving husband of 49 years, and her siblings Ben, Art and Bill Cannell. She is survived by her daughters Cathy (Garry) Woodward of Brantford and Debbie (Kevin) Cornell of St. George. She will be lovingly remembered by her granddaugh­ters Tara (Dave) Kerr, Tracy Woodward, Kimberly Woodward (Brent Weber), and Ashley Cornell. Adored by her great-grandchild­ren Katie (Mike), Emilie, Brayden, and Blake. Known for her loving spirit and sweet dispositio­n, a true artist and expert seamstress. Her many hobbies consisted of painting, ceramics, knitting and crochet. Bea loved to make outfits and costumes for all “her girls”. Mom never lost her keen eye for a beautiful piece of art or a well sewn jacket. A special thank you to the staff at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre in Brantford for taking such good care of Mom and being so compassion­ate in her final years. “Dad, we kept her wrapped in our arms until the end.”

495 Park Road North, Brantford on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Celebratio­n of Bea’s life will be held in the chapel on Friday, May 3 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception in the Hospitalit­y Suite. Enurnment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
