Stabbing victim in stable condition

A 22-year-old man is in stable condition after a stabbing at a Brantford park early Wednesday evening. Brantford police were called to Alexandra Park, at 265 Dalhousie St., shortly after 6 p.m. May 13 for the stabbing, police said. Officers found the 22-year-old victim, but the suspect fled before police arrived. The suspect is described as white, with a thin build. He wore a white T-shirt and cream coloured pants. The victim was transporte­d to hospital where he remains in stable condition, police said. The Brantford police major crime unit is investigat­ing.
