The Hamilton Spectator

Don’t tell me what I want to read

Re: Say hello to Argyll (May 14)

A reader stated that “she” wasn’t interested in the name of the new police horse. She then went on to infer that “we” are not interested in the horse’s name. It’s sad when self-important people decide what the rest of us want. If the reader wants to live in their own little “virus infected” bubble, they have that option, but please don’t include me in your small world. Personally I welcome “all” the news that The Spec prints. I believe that most people want to know everything that’s going on our fine city, and The Spec is doing a great job of doing that in these troubled times.
