Passed away peacefully at Niagara Gardens nursing home in St. Catharines on Tuesday, January 07, 2021 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of John (deceased 2015). Cherished mother of Douglas (Ann) of Port Robinson, Ontario. David (deceased 1980) (special mother-in-law to Karola) of Dundas, Ontario. Marilynn Webster (Phil) of Brantford, Ontario. Proud grandmothe­r of Ian (Terra), Heather (Richard), Aaron (Aline), Danielle (Craig), Brandon (Savannah), Connor, Kyle. Proud great-grandmothe­r of Abbie, Noah, Willow, Hunter and Jack. Dear sister of Ruth Carey (Bill) (deceased) of Dundas, Ontario. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Margaret lived out her deep Christian faith through her varied careers including switchboar­d operator with Bell Canada, Occupation­al Therapist Assistant with Hamilton Henderson Hospital, as well as running a bed-andbreakfa­st at "Glenwood 1827" in Dundas, for many years with John while being active in St. Paul's Presbyteri­an Church in Hamilton before moving to Niagara where she and John worshipped at the Kirk on the Hill Presbyteri­an Church in Fonthill. Her love for family also included many years of involvemen­t in choirs along with Scottish Country Dancing. Margaret also had a gift for creativity including quilting, sewing, baking, gardening and teaching floral arranging at the RBG in Hamilton, Ontario. No plans have been made as yet for a Memorial service for Margaret due to COVID restrictio­ns. Details will follow for that. Cremation has taken place with a private family interment to follow at White Chapel Gardens in Hamilton. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Margaret can be made to St. Paul's Presbyteri­an Church, Hamilton, Memorial Fund or a charity of one's choice.
