Pity the uber-wealthy

Regarding “Wealth taxes cripple growth” (Sept. 12): I had no idea what the wealthy will have to go through to protect their riches from a one to five per cent tax hike, from moving out of the country, selling assets, figuring out their stock options, to trying to understand the gobbledygook about complicated valuation on art and collectibles. And I’m sure the special interest groups; the thousands of homeless, the thousands of poorly paid, the thousands of hungry children, would feel just as sorry for them as I do.
