Variant panic

Why is every politician and government scientist going overboard with reactions to the new variant? This will be just like the flu, a new variant for the next few years. Get over it. Let’s learn to live with it. We know vaccines help minimize the risks. If we don’t learn to live with COVID mutations, we won’t have much of a life going forward.
