Liberty for Youth to launch fundraising marathon

Liberty for Youth, a Hamilton non-profit, will kick off a 10-day fundraising marathon April 27. The campaign is to help raise $300,000 over three years to provide education, mental-health and employment supports to at-risk youth. Executive director Frederick Dryden will join youth council members to run 21 kilometres a day and conduct 21 speaking engagements. They will stop in cities across Hamilton, Niagara and Brant County.
