Military denied jab exemptions
The Canadian Armed Forces said over three-quarters of the more than 1,300 service members who applied for an exemption from the COVID-19 vaccine requirement have had their requests denied. Vice-chief of the defence staff Lt.Gen. Frances Allen revealed the figure to a parliamentary committee this week, in which she also sidestepped questions about what will happen to those troops if the requirement is lifted. All military personnel were ordered to be fully vaccinated by mid-October.
