Why no charges?
I would really like to hear the Hamilton Police Service’s reasons for not prosecuting the owner of the Binbrook home which was flying the Confederate battle flag. That flag, to me and thousands of others, is a symbol of hatred toward the entire African-Canadian community. I believe the charge should be laid under Sec. 319(2) “Wilful
Promotion of Hatred (communicating in a public place, including words spoken or written or recorded electronically or electromagnetically or otherwise, and gestures, signs or other visible representations).”
