Live swing music, dance at Grimsby’s Woolverton Hall

-

The Toronto All Star Band will be playing live swing music from the 1935 to 1948 era at the Spring Swing festival at Grimsby’s Woolverton Hall (19 Elm St.) on Saturday. The event will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the town’s incorporation. The fest will also be a fundraising event, and all proceeds from the ticket sales and silent auction will go to the Grimsby Historical Society. “We got together to plan Spring Swing because we all love swing music and we wanted to create a night out of dancing and having fun,” said Spring Swing chair Ruth Kelly. Tickets available range from $100 to $150.
