The Hamilton Spectator

Poilievre Pt. III

-

According to the writer of this article, the trucker protest was attended by peaceful and joyous citizens there to prove a point, yet later he acknowledges the protest was meant to inconvenience the people of Ottawa. What did the people of Ottawa do to deserve this? One has to wonder how supportive this writer would be if the protest had taken place in front of his residence for three weeks, horns blaring, music playing by joyous and patriotic people or as I prefer to call them — thugs. I think we all know the answer to that.

At the end of this article he complains that the article he was responding to was “an opinion piece written by an independent writer but The Spectator printed it.” Well sir, they also chose to print your opinion piece. I much preferred the first article. Thomas Smith, Ancaster
