Missing masks

Regarding the May 7 Focus feature, with the three party leaders: In the pictures of the leaders greeting crowds of people, one important image came to my eye — Andrea Horwath was the only one wearing a mask! This may seem like a trivial matter compared to the big issues being covered by each candidate. However, this horrific COVID is not over yet like many want to believe. Ms. Horwath shows she cares about the welfare of the people, and herself, as a caring and considerate person. This speaks volumes to me when considering who to vote for at election time.
