Connecting the dots

-

Pointing out that the sale of the 407 under Mike Harris was a good starting point for the Spec. Digging deeper into the sale would have shown that MPP Doug Ford Sr. was a PC caucus member of Mike Harris’s government that was responsible for so many of the so-called “Common Sense Revolution” moves, or should we say “Nonsensical Dollar Give Aways.” Premier Ford is proud to talk about his father’s influence on him and it is time for voters to remember that whenever he talks about 413 benefits, and not Doug’s current blarney that the 407 should have never been sold. Sadly, another set of “Ford Rebates” and corporate low-interest financing plans are undoubtedly being planned with every poll that shows Ford being re-elected. It was just too easy for the Spec to just say it was a long time ago. A lot can be learned from connecting the dots of the past to the present and into the future.
