Nestled on Dundana Street, this five-bedroom, three-bathroom home boasts more than 1,700 square feet of living space and could be the ideal home for several different buyers, said Sarit Zalter, a salesperson with Re/Max Escarpment Realty Inc.

That includes empty nesters, multi-generational households or young families, she noted.

“It’s truly a family home,” said Zalter. “And it’s located on one of the most coveted streets in the community.”

The main floor of the home features a bright living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a renovated kitchen that opens up to the dining area, a full bathroom as well as oversized windows and original hardwood flooring.

The primary bedroom and an office space, which could be used as a bedroom, are also located on the main level, which is what makes the home “really unique,” added Zalter.

Upstairs, there are three more bedrooms and another updated bathroom.

The basement of the home is semi-finished, with the framing, electrical and insulation already in place in the rec room space, noted Zalter. There is also a full bathroom and a laundry and storage area.

Zalter said the treed and very private backyard of the home is a highlight of the property, pointing to the in-ground pool, the large patio for outdoor entertaining and the vegetable gardens.

“It’s really quite beautiful,” she said. “It’s ideal for someone who loves nature.”

Why is it priced this way? Zalter said the price of the home was influenced by its location, size and amenities. It’s located across the street from Dundana Elementary School and a short drive from University Plaza.

A home down the street sold for $1.53 million last March, added Zalter. This property last sold for just under $500,000 in 2014.
