Flamborough Located near Christie Lake Conservation Area and a short drive from Dundas, this home is one of a handful of properties in the area listed for more than $3 million.

Situated on Middletown Road, this four-bedroom, four-bathroom home boasts more than 6,000 square feet of living space and offers a “blend of timeless design and modern luxury,” said Marty Staz, a salesperson with RE/MAX Escarpment Realty Inc.

Staz said the colonial-style home features soaring ceilings, hardwood flooring, large windows, multiple fireplaces and handcrafted millwork throughout.

“Each and every space has been graciously appointed,” said Staz. “It’s timeless and elegant.”

On the main floor, there is a great room with built-in shelving and a wet bar, an airy formal dining area, an eat-in kitchen with a walk-in pantry and commercial-grade appliances, an office and a secondary living room.

“It’s an unbelievable entertainer’s home,” said Staz, noting that the dining room could seat more than a dozen people. “It couldn’t get any better.”

Upstairs, there are four bedrooms — including the primary suite — and three bathrooms. The primary suite features a large walk-in closet and a five-piece ensuite with a soaker tub. All of the bedrooms have walk-in closets and ensuite bathrooms, while the laundry room is also located on the upper level.

Outside, Staz said there is a stone patio located inside a fenced-off space ideal for children or dogs as well as a small horse barn with three stalls. The entire property spans roughly four hectares, with walking trails through the wooded area and space for a swimming pool.

Staz said the house could be ideal for a growing family or those looking to try multi-generational living as the basement of the home is partially finished and could be used as an in-law suite as it has a separate entrance.

Why is it priced this way? Staz said the price of the home was determined by the size of both the home and property, comparables on the market and the features of the house.

The property last sold for $1.73 million in early 2019, according to HouseSigma, a real estate data collection service.
