The Hockey News - - NHL -

If you hear Kings executives talking about moving the start time of games back an hour, you’ll know there’s something to this stat: Los Angeles is the worst team in the league when it comes to goal differential in the first period – even worse than teams that fell out of playoff contention in January and February. The Kings have been tentative out of the gate all season, and needing to rally after 20 minutes has been constant. They score the third-fewest goals in the first period and allow the fourth-most. Does an 8:30 start time work for y’all?
