SVECHNIKOV: Though North American opponents have been challenging him since he arrived in Muskegon, Svechnikov isn’t a fighter and knows he is more useful to his team when he’s on the ice, not in the box. He was suspended for a head shot at the end of the season, but it was more careless than malicious.

ZADINA: “He has a little more of a presence inside,” said one scout. “Both go into traffic, and both go hard along the walls.” Zadina is a skill guy and got a crash course in CHL hockey early, getting knocked headfirst into the boards during his first pre-season game and absorbing a huge open-ice hit one month later. But he never shied away from contact. EDGE: ZADINA
