SHOT

-

SVECHNIKOV: “His release is deadly,” said one scout. “He’s not a high-volume guy, but he gets his chances and buries them. When he wants to be, he’s a pure finisher. His shot and location are NHL-caliber.” Svechnikov tallied nearly a goal per game in the regular season, which was especially impressive since he came back from a broken wrist mid-season.

ZADINA: “He’s got a big-league shot,” said a scout. “Quick release and it’s accurate, he rarely misses the net. Uses a combination of wrist shot and snap shot, so the goalie can’t get ready for one or the other.” Zadina’s 44 goals tied for third in the ‘Q,’ while he also led the league in even-strength tallies (33). He was effective shorthanded, too. EDGE: SVECHNIKOV
