MARK cross ASSISTANT COACH 27 YEARS OLD, STRASBOURG, SASK.

-

WHENEVER THE BRONCOS WEREN’T playing on a Friday or Sunday night, Cross would open the Elgar Petersen Arena for kids to play shinny. He’d section off the ice and have kids arranged according to skill level. And he did it on his own time, expecting nothing in return. After playing five years at York University, he was just starting his coaching career. “He was a bright, bright guy and he wanted to be a hockey coach and starting that with the Broncos was a dream,” Garinger said. “He believed in respect for each other and respect for the game.”
