THE TEAM HAD HIGH hopes that Wassermann would be the first Broncos player drafted directly to the NHL. He was rookie of the year in the SJHL this season and had played games with the WHL’s Regina Pats. Nice kid with a competitive spirit, never gave up on a puck.
