SWEDEN’S LULEA HAS BROUGHT back a favorite this season, and it’s a fun one. This throwback is inspired by the logo worn by the squad from its inception in 1977 until 1994. In recent years, the team had gone with a fierce bear mascot – which was fine – but this celebrating player with the old-school bucket helmet is awesome because it’s so unique. It’s always great when teams represent their history, and this really hits the mark with Lulea including its 1977 birth year right on the crest. And while it’s nearly impossible to get away from ads on European jerseys, at least Lulea went with a big crest that doesn’t get blocked out by the corporate stuff.
