MASS WAS THE theme of Chicago’s 2021 draft, with Nolan Allan, Colton Dach and Taige Harding as the team’s first three selections. Allan and Harding both project as defensive defensemen, while Dach’s down-low game up front could complement older brother Kirby in a few years. Losing Adam Boqvist in the Seth Jones trade is easier to swallow with the likes of Wyatt Kalynuk and Ian Mitchell also possessing great wheels on the blueline.
