Storage unit entered
Nothing was taken but a suspect did leave behind a used needle and syringe when a storage unit was entered.
Belleville police report officers were called to the Grier Street area just before 5 p. m. Wednesday and found a storage unit had been broken into. A security light was purposely disabled and entry was then made into the unit. It appeared the suspect rummaged through the unit though no property was reported to be missing, “but police did note that the suspect left behind a used needle and syringe,” police stated in a media release. This material was secured and safely disposed of by police.
