Greg Reeves

The Kids Post - - Registry of Educators -

Greg Reeves will officially start as the Principal at St. Michael’s College School this month. He attributes his motivation to become an educator to his mother, who was also a teacher. Though, dig a little deeper and it appears that teaching is ingrained in his family, with both sisters, his brother-in-law, his wife and his mother-in-law all in the field. “I coached from a very early age,” he says, “and have always enjoyed working with kids and their parents.” When asked what has been a significant experience that has stood out for him as an educator, Reeves finds it hard to define one experience. “During my career I have loved every position from teacher, consultant, vice principal, principal, supervisory officer, and Director of Education. Becoming the Principal of St. Michael's College School is a real privilege and honour. I am very humbled to be here.” “I believe that we are privileged to be in a Catholic School and [I] have always worked in the Catholic system,” he says. “We are able to educate in a faith based school and continue the legacy of the Basilian Fathers and teach goodness, discipline,

and knowledge.”
