Chil­dren's Magic Mo­ments opened in 2003, the cul­mi­na­tion of Frida Lacaria's pas­sion for pro­mot­ing in­de­pen­dence, self-es­teem and con­fi­dence in chil­dren com­bined with two decades of hands-on busi­ness ex­pe­ri­ence. Lacaria could never find the right day­care to meet her high stan­dards, so she cre­ated her own, where the de­vel­op­men­tal, in­tel­lec­tual, and emo­tional well­ness of chil­dren are nur­tured. Twelve years later, Lacaria en­joys watch­ing chil­dren be­come unique in­di­vid­u­als as they ex­plore the won­der­ful en­vi­ron­ment she built. By com­plet­ing a two-year holis­tic cook­ing course, be­com­ing a cer­ti­fied Nu­tri­tional Prac­ti­tioner and Cer­ti­fied Holis­tic Can­cer Prac­ti­tioner, she helps peo­ple live bet­ter lives. Her com­pas­sion, ded­i­ca­tion to qual­ity as well as in­ter­est in learn­ing, in­flu­ence the way the day­care is run. “When we cre­ate our pro­grams, I keep in mind ev­ery­thing I'd want my own child to have'', Lacaria says. “From our bright, clean en­vi­ron­ment to the ac­tiv­i­ties and healthy meals our res­i­dent cook pre­pares us­ing or­ganic and lo­cal foods, we fo­cus on health and de­vel­op­ment. Each day, I feel blessed watch­ing the fruit of my labour un­fold be­fore my eyes.”
