Baby, it’s not war

The London Free Press - - LETTERS -

there’s a lot of discussion about whether the song Baby, It’s Cold Outside implies rape. I have listened to the song for many years and never ever viewed it as such. Perception is in the brain of the listener. the intention of the song is to entertain. I like this song and am sure if it was left up to the majority of listeners to the radio station they would continue to play it.

If women are expected to view life as a war, then it is a sad place to live. I choose not to live that way. everything is not bad. We need to open our lives to enjoying all the opportunities and family life around us. Valerie Brown Aylmer
