HRH hosts golf tournament for all
This September, Holy Redeemer looks to begin a new tradition by hosting HRH’s 1st Annual Golf Tournament.
“This was something we’ve talked about for some time,” says Tournament Co-Chair Laura Webb. “And now we are hosting basketball provincials, we thought we could use it as a fundraiser.”
Webb is speaking about the 2A Boys Basketball Provincials that Holy Redeemer will be hosting in March. With the preparations for provincials well underway, the school is looking for ways to offset many of the costs associated with running a weekend tournament that will feature the twelve best 2A basketball teams in the province.
“We figured the Golf Tournament would be a great way to kick off our fundraising campaign,” says Webb. “And it will be a lot of fun.”
The Golf Tournament is set for Friday September 23 at the Edson Golf and Country Club. Players will be placed on teams of four in a Texas Scramble format. It will be a shotgun start at 5p.m. The cost to play is $90 with a fabulous dinner included.

“Please remember that this tournament is for both adults and youth,” says Webb. “Everyone is welcome to take part. It’s guaranteed to be a very fun evening.”
