Hinton RCMP seek pub­lic as­sis­tance in solv­ing ru­ral break and en­ters

Hinton RCMP are seek­ing the pub­lic’s as­sis­tance after two ru­ral lo­ca­tions were bro­ken into this past week.

On April 16, 2018, Hinton RCMP re­sponded to a break, en­ter, and theft com­plaint at the Blue Lake Camp off High­way 40 North. Un­known sus­pect(s) gained en­try and re­moved a 42” Sony tele­vi­sion and 9,000 watt Gen­erac gen­er­a­tor from in­side.

Later that day Hinton RCMP re­sponded to a re­port of a break, en­ter, and theft at the Gregg Lake Camp on High­way 40 North. Un­known sus­pect(s) gained en­try and re­moved a Sharp flat screen tele­vi­sion and Blu Ray player.

RCMP are ask­ing the pub­lic to be wary of th­ese items be­ing sold sec­ond hand.
