Hinton RCMP arrest three individuals after executing two search warrants
The Hinton RCMP and Hinton RCMP General Investigation Section has arrested three individuals for drug offences after completing two search warrants in Hinton, Alta.
On March 5, 2021, RCMP executed search warrants at two residences in Hinton, Alta. Police seized what is believed to be methamphetamine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, and an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency.
A 30-year-old male from Hinton, Alta. has been charged with:
Trafficking a controlled substance (x2).
Possession for the purpose of trafficking (x2). Possession of stolen property under $5000.
A 39-year-old female from Hinton, Alta. has been charged with:
Trafficking a controlled substance. Possession of a controlled substance.
A 25-year-old male from Hinton, Alta. has been charged with:
Possession for the Purpose of trafficking.
All three have been released on an Undertaking and are scheduled to appear in Hinton Provincial Court on April 7, 2021.
“We are attacking drug trafficking at the street level in an effort to stop the flow of drugs into our communities,” says Sgt. Graham Gurski, Operations Officer of the Hinton RCMP Detachment. “The Hinton RCMP will remain steadfast in our efforts to eliminate this activity and ensure the safety of the residents of Hinton and Yellowhead County.”
