Brogan manager appointed to provincial board

Brogan Safety Supplies, a division of Guillevin Internatio­nal is pleased to announce the appointmen­t of Marc Chayer to the Fire Provincial Sub Council after confirmati­on by the Alberta Safety Codes Council Board of Directors on April 15th.

Chayer was one of two nominees submitted for considerat­ion to the council by the Alberta Fire Safety Associatio­n. The Alberta Fire Safety Associatio­n is the voice of the province’s fire safety industry. They work with the government and the province’s service providers to ensure that our industry maintains the highest standards. By maintainin­g a role on the Fire Sub-Council under the Safety Codes Council the A.F.S.A can liaison directly with government officials at every level.

When reached for comment on the appointmen­t, Darryl Bodnar Vice President & General Manager stated, ³Marc is indicative of the quality people we have always had in this organizati­on. We are proud of not only what he can bring to the council, but of also the fact that he represents what we value most, responsibl­e service to our community and our clients. He is only one of many employees who give their time to various initiative­s in communitie­s across the country, an activity we not only support, but encourage.”

For his part, Chayer states, ³Brogan has always been about our people, their skills and training . We have those who volunteer in search & rescue, fire department­s, and so much more using the talents and expertise they have developed through the company. We have a wonderful team in our Branch, and that allows me the time to contribute to the council. I have always enjoyed the support of the management as have others within the organizati­on, especially in activities such as this.”

The term of the appointmen­t is effective from 8 April 2022 until 31 January 2025.
