Con­struc­tion well un­der­way for new hous­ing de­vel­op­ment

Con­struc­tion of a new hous­ing de­vel­op­ment for ma­ture adults is well un­der­way in Es­panola with a model home now avail­able for view­ing.

Oli­vadel De­vel­op­ments is build­ing 27 gar­den homes, which will be avail­able to sell or lease to adults aged 55 or older.

The 1,300-square-foot units, known as Brent­wood Vil­lage, are lo­cated be­hind the Queensway Av­enue across from the sports­field.

In a press re­lease, long­time lo­cal builder Todd Yusko said he is proud to bring his com­pany Quan­tum Builders on board with the pro­ject.

“These new gar­den homes are qual­ity con­struc­tion with an en­ergy ef­fi­cient de­sign,” said Yusko adding that buy­ers can choose their own floor­ing, cab­i­netry and colours.

On Dec. 20, coun­cil voted to name the ac­cess street to the new de­vel­op­ment off the Queensway as Yusko Cres­cent.

The units start at

$299,900 and will be­come avail­able for oc­cu­pancy be­gin­ning in Jan­uary.
