Construction well underway for new housing development
Construction of a new housing development for mature adults is well underway in Espanola with a model home now available for viewing.
Olivadel Developments is building 27 garden homes, which will be available to sell or lease to adults aged 55 or older.
The 1,300-square-foot units, known as Brentwood Village, are located behind the Queensway Avenue across from the sportsfield.
In a press release, longtime local builder Todd Yusko said he is proud to bring his company Quantum Builders on board with the project.
“These new garden homes are quality construction with an energy efficient design,” said Yusko adding that buyers can choose their own flooring, cabinetry and colours.
On Dec. 20, council voted to name the access street to the new development off the Queensway as Yusko Crescent.
The units start at
$299,900 and will become available for occupancy beginning in January.
