‘Happy Canada Day-& Happy Eid Day’!
Liberation of Mosul Key Step in Defeating ISIS:
Unbelievable, coincidently 2 enjoyable celebrations in one week, especially falling in the Weekend, making easy for the working people. We Muslims just celebrated Eid on Sunday after fasting for 30 days as commanded by Allah-Creator-GOD, and fulfilled our faithful duty to HIM, and now Canada Day celebration on Saturday to enjoy another weekend of happiness, to prove we are faithful Canadians’. Isn’t it amazing that on this particular day we all become truly Canadians and show our love and care for our country. As usual, all of us of different culture, color and religion, truly join hands and show we are One’ community the Canadians’. This is the way to show faithfulness to the country we live in and truly safeguard its Citizens regardless of their color, culture or religion. This is called faithfulness. Faithfulness to GOD as well as to HIS creation. For me Canada is very special as I discovered Islam and Quran, that also led to discovery of the Bible, Torah and all the Biblical Prophets, never knew existed. Most grateful for the given freedom of choice and to research the Divine Revelations. This is also a unique opportunity for the refugees to experience the happiness of unity by the Canada Day celebration. They definitely, need to experience peace and happiness of our Canadian ways after going through the most dangerous trauma. Our best wishes on Canada Day to P. M. Trudeau and his family, NDP leaders John Horgan and family, Tom Mulcair and family, Conservative leader Andrew Scheer and family, and all the Canadians. May GOD Bless Canada and Canadians.

This week, Iraqi Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi, declared victory over ISIS in the city of Mosul. Conservative Critic for Foreign Af-
fairs, Peter Kent, and National Defence Critic James Bezan, issued the following statement: “We congratulate Prime Minister Abadi, the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) and the citizens of Iraq on the liberation of Mosul. After nine months of conflict, this is a decisive victory for the ISF and the international coalition working to defeat ISIS. Allied partners must continue to work together to ensure ISIS remains defeated in Iraq and is not permitted to establish new foot- holds in the region. “We would also like to thank the men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces who have been contributing to this fight since October 2014. Their achievements include training ISF personnel and the Kurdish Peshmerga, eliminating nearly 250 ISIS fighting positions through airstrikes, establishing a role-2 medic hospital, and killing an ISIS militant with the world’s longest sniper shot.
“Unfortunately, since cancelling Canada’s air combat mission in Iraq, the Liberals’ plan to combat ISIS has been incoherent and vague. They have refused to provide regular technical briefings and Prime Minister Trudeau has failed to explain his decision to pull our CF-18 fighter jets out of the fight against ISIS. Worse still, Defence Minister Sajjan has repeatedly misled Canadians about our allies’ support for the revamped Liberal mission and failed to be transparent when he withdrew half of our air surveillance capabilities from the region. “Given that the Liberals claim to support a unified Iraq, Minister Freeland should clearly outline how the Canadian government plans to assist future stabilization efforts. In addition, Minister Sajjan must outline what role our troops will now be playing given the extension of Operation IMPACT until March 2019. “We will continue to call on the Liberal government to provide regular briefings on the mission, to explain how the Canadian Armed Forces will contribute to the degradation of ISIS in the region, and how Canada will be contributing to the stabilization of Iraq.”
