Baabul Ilm Education Society hosted an Eid Dinner

Baabul Ilm Education Society hosted an Eid Dinner in honour of Minister for Citizen Services, Jinny Sims. Also present on the occasion were some members of parliment and people from Canadian academia. The idea of arranging this type of gathering is to reach out to non-muslim Canadians and appraise them of our religioous values, imprtance of Ramadan, Eid, and other im- portant Muslim festivities and Muslim values in particular. The Dinner was attended by about 40 people, mostly nonMuslim Canadian.
