Al Ihsaan Women’s Vocational Centre of Bangladesh Fundraising Dinner

Alhumdulillah, with the Mercy of Allah SWT) and the generosity of all the donors, Al -Ihsaan Women’s Vocational Centre of Bangladesh a project of Human Concern International of Canada) had another successful fundraising dinner on May 5th at New Era Banquet hall in Delta, BC. Even though we were short of some fund to reach our target but it still allowed us to gather approximately 250 Muslims together in one place for the sake of Allah SWT). This one its own is a great success; may Allah SWT) join us all together in Jannah. You have filled our hearts with great fortitude and encouragement, not only to continue this great journey but also to increase our efforts and dedication to surmount all the obstacles. The board of Al Ihsan would like to thank each and every participant, present or not, for their generosity and continued support for this project. The guest speaker, Sheikh Ahmad Shehab, once again sacrificed his time and family to be with us for this awesome event. Sheikh Shehab did an amazing job, as usual, in motivating the audience and reminding them of their duties to Allah SWT). We ask Allah SWT) to shower Sh. Shehab and his family with blessings and reunite them in Al Ferdaus. Last but certainly not least, we would like to thank all the volunteers that made this event happen; their relentless efforts should be an example to all. Ramadhan is but a few days away. We pray that Allah will grant us the opportunity to reach it, to partake of it and to obtain the humongous blessings in it. We urge you to not only focus on racing as fast as you can to ‘finish’ the Qur’an but realize that this blessed month is also a unique time to implement your generosity. You are only too well familiar how generous your Model, The Messenger SAW@ was, and yet how much more so he was during this month. Is Allah not generous Does He not love generosity Fudail bin Iyyad reported “Every night Allah proclaims, ‘I am generous ”Many of us pay our akat during this month. We at Al-Ihsan Women’s Vocational Center would be delighted to receive and distribute your donations to a community of one of the most deprived peoples. The school has added grade 10 and a science lab this year to promote science within the students beside Islamic studies so that they know the creator through science. Some of you already sponsored 2 class rooms and the libray under the name of your loved one or your organization. We need more sponsors either to sponsor a class room or the science lab with 5k per year or a destitute student with 30 month for meals and study and an orphan with 50 month for Hifz study, meals and housing. We have 250 full time students this year, we need 100 sponsors. You have an option to sponsor a classroom from Grade 1 to 10 as well as the Science lab.

We also collect Fitrana for student’s family to celebrate their Eid. Alhamdulillah, we can feed a family of 10 with a banquet meal on Eid day at cost of 15 dollar. We request you also to share your Qurbani meat with our orphan housing students . Donations are payble to HCI.
