An Amazing Opportunity

H umans are have been provided an abundance of opportunities from nature and the divine being, God, as believed by most of us. We have the ability to feel, think, possess intelligence, a complex body, and a magical brain that gives us the opportunity to grow and change. In addition to the laws of nature, we have luck. We also have the ability to change our luck and create a better life by taking luck in our hands. There were simply lemons; and took it as a gift from life and made lemonade. If that doesn’t speak about the resilience of humans, nothing else does. The key to having a miraculous life isn’t magical pills or healing potions but a positive approach to life which is a way to control your reactions. Things will always be good, bad, or both but luck comes into play based on how you take it. There is always a solution and often times it is not what we expect or assume. An important thing to remember is not that bad or good things happen to us that determines our life but how we react to those situations. When we are gifted life in this world, it comes with a package of the amazing positive benefits along with some less positive gifts which we did not ask for. We are gifted parents, children, siblings, poverty, wealth, society, advances, and diseases. The dedication of humanity speaks for itself- we are the biggest predator on earth. We are the only animal that can cure diseases by creating things. Take the negatives such as diseases or poverty and mix with the positives such as a supportive family and dedication to create a life of legacy. It could be anything big or small from solving mysteries, facing battle to fight the wrong, providing love to the lost animals, protecting the earth one less plastic bottle at a time, or breaking medical barriers. Make it your life. Lastly, the ultimate goal identified by great scholars and priests is finding happiness and peace in life. This comes from within. Happi- ness is a journey and peace is the destination. We get this from being positive, helping others, practicing gratefulness, always aiming to be better, and not being knocked on by the smallest breeze. And always remembering that it is not the e end of the world world, its takes time and perseverance and you can do it. There is No Such Thing as a Free Lunch Famously stated by Steve Jobs, this is true across for everyone. There is nothing free in this world. Every decision and situation has a price. We have to honour the rules for the game of life. We should embrace all decisions and their consequences and aim to be prepared for what they are with a positive approach. Every Cloud has a Silver Lining There is good in everything and bad as well. If one looks closely, there is good in bad as well. The bad teaches us strength and gives us perspective which is truly a gift. The trials of life brings over an abundance of opportunity to mould us to be a better version or break us. This is not to say people don’t fail and to create pressure to constantly be positive. Everyone fails but only some ultimately get up. So these days lets aim to be better, ask for help when we need, and count our blessings.
