President of the Surrey Community Alliance

Doug is a long time community activist from Newton and currently president of the Surrey Community Alliance. He has volunteered for many years working for children in the sports community. He has been a spokesperson for the Newton Community Association focusing on Public Safety issues and Crime. He feels that there is a need for change on City Council. Many neighorhoods feel they are being neglected. When elected he will work to prioritize the concerns of our communities and neighborhoods. “We need to bring to bring City Hall back to the people of Surrey” “Surrey Deserves Better.”
