Obituary Mrs Naseem Shoaib
On 04th June, I received an email from Dr. Shams, he announced the passing away of his younger beloved sister, Mrs. Naseem Shoeb. Mrs. Naseem Shoaib daughter of Dr. Kamaluddin, was born at Pilibhit in 1938. From all his brother and sisters, Dr. Shams Jilani shared a common bond with Mrs. Naseem. Both of them were blessed to receive the common upbringing from their illustri-
ous ancestors. Their family has a long association with literature and Islamic scholarship from the time of the Great Grandfather, Maulana Haji Sheikh Jalal Uddin Jalal, an Urdu poet and Islamic scholar who passed in 1904. The Nani Hameedun Nisa Begum (Maternal grandfather) was also the source of an inspiration for both brother & sister from whom they received early education and human values during their childhood days at Village Khamaria, District Pilibhit.
Both of them blessed to receive the blessings of Tasawwuf from Hazrat Sayyad Meharban Ali Shah of Akkaora khatak, a Sufi saint of Khyber Pakhtun who used to be a frequent visitor & guest of his maternal grandfather village Khamaria, Pilibhit, United Provinces during colonial days. She came to Pakistan at the age of twenty when her father migrated to Karachi in 1958. A God fearing pious lady, Mrs. Naseem was fighting with heart disease, diabetes and malunion of the hip fracture from last two months. She doesn’t had any offspring and husband, Mr. Shoeb, passed away in 2012. She said a farewell to this material world on 17th Ramzan at her sister home in K.D.A, Karachi. She was buried in the Roshanabad graveyard. The demise of the beloved sister is the second shock for the Urdu Columnist & Social worker who lost her life partner last year on 05 March/2017. Fortunately, the month of her demise is holy month of Ramzan and day coincides with the anniversary of the first battle of Islam, Badr. May Allah bless her by the tawassul of Prophet (Peace be upon him).
