Premier says “It is a thrill for me to break the fast in this holy month with you.” in Vancouver Jameh Masjid

On June 7, BC Premier John Horgan visited at Iftr time in Vancouver Jameh Masjid located at 8th Ave x Ash St. It was a beautiful moment, when Premier and other official’s members did Itar among Muslim community in Masjid. President Pakistan Canada Association Mr. Shaukat Khan welcome distinguished guests in Masjid. Mr. Haroon Khan said “this Vancouver masjid has become a beacon for the Muslim Community for many of the tourist and travellers that visit here”. Dr. Mohammad Tariq CG of Pakistan said “This occasion brings us all together and BC is a hallmark of diversity.” Andrea Reimer City Councillor Vancouver thanked to the Muslim community who welcome them. Premier John Horgan said” it is a thrill for me to break the fast in this holy month with you. Our diversity in BC is a source of our strength, I am so humbled to share the moment with you. Best moments of his visit in this Masjid were, when he joined the congregation at Iftr time with provided dates, Falooda, Milk and Rooh Afza. The Premier also took part in Maghreb Prayer in front row with others, after prayer he enjoyed the delicious food, which served to everyone. The final remarks Premier given that “I look forward to come back again”.
