On June , the Honourable Jean Yves Duclos, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development highlighted the benefits of Early Learning Child Care agreement by visiting CEFA Early Learning Fleetwood Location. The governments of Canada and ritish Columbia have signed early learning and child care bilateral agreement. Through this bilateral agreement, the overnment of ritish Columbia will receive 1 million, over three years. ritish Columbia is committed to ensuring that children from birth to the time they start school and their families have increased access to comprehensive, integrated and culturally responsive early childhood development programs, resources and supports for healthy early childhood development and improved outcomes for all children. ELCC will open more child care spaces in the four daycare places we have in the riding, as shown on Minister Duclos visit to CEFA Early Learning. Fleetwood Port Kells will benefit from ELCC program because we have a lot of young families in the riding, as well the bilateral agreement will help the parents shape their child life for the future.
