Qirat and Azan Competition hosted by Young Ummah in Surrey Jameh Masjid
On August 11, Young Ummah has initiated another aspiring event for the youth in the lowermain land. 1st Voice of Islaam Qur’aan and Adhan competition took place in Surrey Jamaie Masjid. We had over 65 participants competing at this beautiful event. We had participants as young as 9 years and as old as 55 years participating in this fruitful event. In addition, reciting Qura’an through memory had three categories; Tier 1 (18-25), Tier 2 (13-17) and Tier 3 (9-12) years of age. Likewise, Adhan had two categories; Tier 1 (16-Up) and Tier 2 (915) years of age. Alhumdiallah, we would like to thank all the participants and encourage everyone to keep exceling towards the book of Allah and find ways to perfect the recitation of the Holy Qur’aan in a manner where all mighty Allah SWT is content with is slave. Without the help and support our beloved volunteers, we would have not been able to accomplish this milestone; therefore, Young Ummah sincerely thanks Br Tayyab Qazi, Br Hammadullah Qazi and Br Asim Hassan and all the other volunteers to helped planned this event and made it happen.
