Remembrance of the great martyrs of Karbala @ Masjid Anwaar e Madina

On Sept 22, Masjid Anwaar e Madina organized a very spiritual program in the remembrance of the great martyrs of Karbala and the great and high status of the grandson of the holy prophet (PBUH) Imaam Hussein (R.A).The program started with the recitation of Quran by hafiz Mohammad Yusuf, followed by a few naats and manqabats by Mohammed Rehan( from Fiji) Abbas,Irfan ,Yaawar Yaqub, Saiyad Zeeshaan, Saiyad Farhaan and Shehzaad in group. Then after Maghrib M/C Saiyad Afroz described the Shuadha e Karbalah event of this evening purpose.He invited Imam and Khateeb of Masjid Anwaar e Madina, maulana Saiyad Imroz Dean Saify, He recited Sura AshShura (42) Ayat # 23. Zaalikal lazee yubash shirul laahu ‘ibaadahul lazeena aamanoo wa ‘amilus saalihaat; qul laaa as’alukum ‘alaihi ajran illal mawaddata fil qurbaa; wa mai yaqtarif hasanatan nazid lahoo feehaa husnaa; innal laaha Ghafoorun Shakoor “It is that of which Allah gives good tidings to His servants who believe and do righteous deeds. Say, [O Muhammad], “I do not ask you for this message any payment [but] only good will through kinship.” And whoever commits a good deed - We will increase for him good therein. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Appreciative.” He explained word Arabic word ”Mawaddata” in details and then delivered a very informative , spiritual speech in Urdu regarding the events of Karbala and the reasons behind it. Imaam Hussein fought to save and honour of Islam against the tyranny of Yazeed. Saiyad Imroz mostly focused at the theme of Shahadat (sacrifice)of Imaam Hussain and defined the difference between Love and Mawaddata. Maulana also said that it is no doubt that Panjtan Pak (Prophet (SAW), Ali (R.A.), Fatima (R.A.), Hassan and Hussain (R.A), are Ahle Bayt but Prophet’s close family members and relatives are also the Ahle Bayt and it is proved through Hadiths. Today we should remember the Scarifies of Syedna Imam Hussain and his family and follow his lesson and teachings of his Grandfather. Mohammad (SAW)The program finished with Salaat o Salaam and Duaa made by Br, Ali Asghar Saify after Hafiz Mohammad Yusaf Talawat e Quran.After Duaa delicious dinner has been served.
