Carolyn spoke “About Forgiveness.” Is there sin in the world? Sin is a state of being separated from God and other people. Adam and Eve sinned; they were unwilling to serve. Sin was forgiven but there were consequences. Jesus was honoured by the lady who washed His feet when so often the blind, lame and poor were called sinners and excluded but Jesus forgave her. Your faith has saved you so go in peace. The Minute for Mission explained how congregational support provides food and shelter to many Canadians communities. The offering receivers were: Helen Cruickshank, Jim Hahnen, Kathy Jardine and Gordon Russell. Donations were given in loving memory of Burton Sears, Elma Rideout and Ken Taylor to the General Fund and to the UCW. Ann’s and Monica’s Fundraiser Concert for the Red Cross is on Saturday, 7 p.m. All are welcome. Submitted by Gail Kay
