New Glas­gow - Kath­leen J. “Nat” Mur­ray, age 80, of New Glas­gow, and a long-time res­i­dent of Tren­ton, passed away Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 28, 2018. Born in New Glas­gow, she was a daugh­ter of the late Robert and Clara Fraser. She was a for­mer em­ployee of K Mart. She was a lov­ing and car­ing mother and grand­mother and very de­voted to her fam­ily. Mom, “Nan­nie”, was a lov­ing sports fan fol­low­ing her three grand­sons in hockey rinks and ball­fields. Nat cher­ished all time spent with fam­ily and friends. She is sur­vived by a daugh­ter, Jen­nifer Mur­ray, New Glas­gow, and grand­son, Colton, Al­berta; son, Robert (Paula), Tren­ton, and grand­sons: Craig (Chris­tena), New Glas­gow, Matthew, New Glas­gow, and their mother and friend, Jen­nifer; broth­erin-law: Don­ald G. (Jean) Mur­ray, New Glas­gow; sis­ter-in-law, Carol Mur­ray, Al­berta; spe­cial friends: Char­lie and Margie Fer­gus; Susan Tan­ner; Bon­nie Hafey; and Rick and Ann Best. She was pre­de­ceased by her lov­ing hus­band, Alan W. “Demp” Mur­ray and brother, Henry Fraser. There will be no vis­i­ta­tion. A pub­lic grave­side ser­vice will be held at 1 pm Satur­day, Novem­ber 10, in Hill­side Ceme­tery, with Fr. Don­ald Boudreau of­fi­ci­at­ing.
