Bombers drop two week­end games

LANTZ, N.S. — The Pic­tou County Wear Well Bombers dropped a pair of games on the week­end. In a Nova Sco­tia Ma­jor Ban­tam Hockey League game on Nov. 4, the Bombers lost 5-3 against the All Credit Auto Rangers in a game played at the East Hants Sport­spex. Lu­cas Can­ning had two goals for Pic­tou County, while Adam Far­rell also scored and Keifer Avery set up two goals.

On Nov. 3 in Antigo­nish, the Bombers lost 8-7 in over­time against The No­vas af­ter the vis­i­tors scored twice in the fi­nal two min­utes to knot the score.

Ben Wal­lace poured in three goals for Pic­tou County, Blaise Mac­Don­ald scored twice, and Can­ning and Tan­ner Steele had sin­gle mark­ers. Avery had three as­sists and Lan­don Sim set up two goals.

The Bombers, with a record of 5-7-1 on the sea­son, have a 5:30 p.m. game at the Pic­tou County Well­ness Cen­tre on Nov. 10 against the Gulls, and are in Dart­mouth on Nov. 11 to play the Whalers.
