Former PC Party leader Simon Hugh Holmes was born in Springville, Pictou County. Information in the Nov. 1 edition of The News came from the PC Party website, which had the incorrect location. Also, John Hamm and Donald Cameron were both born in New Glasgow; the locations listed in the website indicated where their family homes were located.
