Mariposa skaters make Canada Games team

WESTVILLE ROAD, N.S. — Three Pictou County skaters will compete at the 2019 Canada Winter Games in February.

Mariposa East skaters Brooke Pennington (pre-novice women), Cameron Boulter (pre-novice men) and Jailyn Elliott (pre-novice dance) will all make the trip to Red Deer, Alta. in February for Games.

The skaters have qualified by competing at Skate Canada Nova Scotia Sectionals and the Skate Canada Challenge.
