Bantam AA Crushers sweep Bulldogs

PICTOU, N.S. — The Pictou County Crushers swept the Antigonish Bulldogs in a bantam AA hockey homeand-home series this past weekend. Saturday in Pictou, the Crushers defeated the Bulldogs 7-3. Logan Crosby led all scorers with a hat trick, while Lane Lochead collected a pair of goals. Singles went to Camden Kelly and Reese Smith and assists went to Lochead (4), Smith (3), Crosby and Brent Chapman. Evan Ramsey picked up the win in goal. In Game 2 on Sunday in Antigonish, Pictou County edged the Bulldogs 5-3.

Cole Battist was solid in the Crushers net to pick up the win. Jayden Duplessis and Cory MacGillivray each scored two goals with a single marker going to Lochead. Assists went to Eastyn Cameron (2), Reese Smith (2), Lochead, Crosby, and MacGillivray.

This weekend, the Crushers travel to South Shore for two league games.
