Police arrest man after shooting incident
CHURCHVILLE, N.S. — A 25-year old man has been arrested in relation to a report of shots being fired at a residence in East River East Side Road in Churchville on Thursday, Jan 3.
Police are still looking for two more suspects.
At 8:30 a.m., police responded
after three suspects in a grey, fourdoor pickup truck fired a long gun at the residence while they drove by. None of the three people inside were harmed.
According to the RCMP media release, the police do not believe this was a random act and the parties are known to one another.
The arrest happened at
2:30 p.m., and RCMP are aware of the identities of the other two men involved. They are also warning that both men may be armed and are asking the public not to approach them.
